The True Comforter

Do you know the dwelling place of the True Comforter?

He dwells in you.

The enemy of the soul stirs lies, distractions and hinders, temporarily, the truth of God the Father. Notice I said, temporarily. For the Spirit of Truth abides with you. John 8:32 reads, “and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”

As new creations in Christ, the life and nature of God is imparted to our spirits. The old man, spiritual death, had possession of our spirits. Upon accepting Jesus, life enters, the old man is done away. Do you not know? You are the temple of the living God.

Knowing in mind is not enough, knowing in spirit newness sets one free from the lies and distractions of the enemy. Hallelujah, freedom reigns in ones spirit man and disseminates throughout the entire being, ones body is the temple of the Holy Ghost.

So, what is the purpose of a temple?

It is a place of worship and a dwelling place of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, the body being the temple of the Holy Ghost where the Spirit of God dwells must be acknowledged and presented as the temple of God. Ones body is the temple where the Most Holy One dwells in entirety; worship is necessary if one is to maintain a personal relationship with Father and Son.

The enemy will tempt and lie to anyone that will give him an audience. However, knowing with Whom one is in relationship with assures that Satan has no entrance.

The Holy Spirit indwelling in ones spirit prohibits the enemy from entering in. He, the devil, can only attack the mind. He can not enter our spirits because the spirit has been recreated and Holy Spirit occupies it. Thank you, Lord!

John 14:16-17 “I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you forever… he will dwell with you, and shall be in you.” Father has promised to be with all who will believe and receive His gift. Become passionate in your relationship with Holy Spirit. He will guide you into all truth. Trust Him today.
