Love's in it ... all the Way

In this Easter season, give yourself permission to think on our Savior's love and His powerful Resurrection that saved you and me. During this time of reflection, turn your heart and eyes to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our FAITH. Enjoy life, peace and joy as these are the kingdom gifts given to us who believe the Lord as the true and living Son of God.

Jesus stepped out of the realm of glory into the realm of lowliness. He put on the garment of flesh to prove His love for us. Not only did He clothe himself in flesh, He took our place in this sin-ridden world where He too became separated from Father God. We turned our backs on Our Father, yet He single handily, bore it all. All of our sins, sicknesses, diseases He did bare to prove His love. Jesus, the Son of God, for you and me, He died. Our Savior and Lord, He gave His all. He gave His life, the most valued life that redeemed you and me. He shed His precious blood which includes His life. Life is in the blood, you know.

His life, He gave to satisfy Father's claim against our transgressions.

Divine justice was satisfied when Christ bore our sins and punishment.

His selfless sacrifice, shedding of His blood, is the greatest gift of life that you and I could receive.

Let's unwrap this gift.

Let's begin with the blood of Jesus, the greatest gift of all. Andrew Murray expresses in his book The Power of the Blood of Jesus that, "In that blood, dwelt the soul of the holy Son of God. The eternal life of the Godhead was carried in that blood (Acts 20:28)." As we continue to unwrap this gift, we find the gift of reconciliation. Being reconciled with Father is a valuable gift more than we can imagine. Reconciliation, being made in union with our Father, renders sin powerless, and at the point of having no ability or power, sin has no dominion over us. Romans 8:2 noted, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Beloved, unwrapping this gift of love is the most precious gift we could ever attain. Open your spiritual eyes and heart and continue unwrapping this gift. You will find more precious gifts that will develop you into a spiritual giant.

In Christ,

Pastor Glorious
